Job Summary
Provide radiographic images or position fluoroscopic equipment as instructed while minimizing radiation exposure and ensuring patient comfort. Select and prepare contrast media for examinations, process radiographic images to PACS, and verify correct body part indication on all images. Process x-ray requests and assist in instructing student technologists by demonstrating technical skills. This night shift role at RWJBarnabas Health requires ARRT certification, a NJ radiology license, and BLS, with a preference for two years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology
- NJ radiology license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of radiology technician experience
