Job Summary
Provide radiographic images or position fluoroscopic equipment as instructed while minimizing radiation exposure and ensuring patient comfort. Select and prepare contrast media for examinations, process images for PACS, and handle x-ray requests. Identify correct body parts on all images and assist in instructing student technologists by demonstrating technical skills. Requires ARRT certification, NJ radiology license, and BLS certification. Night shift position at RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology
- NJ radiology license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of radiology technician experience
