Job Summary
Provide radiographic images or position fluoroscopic equipment as instructed while minimizing radiation exposure and ensuring patient comfort. Select and prepare contrast media for examinations, process images to PACS, and manage x-ray requests with accurate patient identification. Assist in instructing student technologists by demonstrating technical procedures. Requires ARRT certification, NJ radiology license, and BLS. Night shift.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology
- NJ radiology license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of radiology technician experience
