Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology provides care for patients in the Heart & Vascular Institute, assists physicians across invasive cardiology and radiology procedures, administers contrast under physician orders, maintains sterile technique, supports inventory, identifies patients and charts, and documents procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with left/right heart caths, TAVR/Watchman/Mitraclip/Triclip, vascular access, and Hybrid Peripheral work with vascular surgery; requires on-call duties and the ability to work around and maintain a sterile field, with supervision by a physicist or dosimetrist. Certifications include ARRT Radiography, IEMA licensure, BLS, ACLS, and ongoing credentials; education includes an Associate’s Degree or Certificate of Completion. Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (ARRT)
  • Illinois Licensure (IEMA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year
  • Education: Associate’s Degree or Certificate of Completion
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience or interventional radiology experience preferred
  • Ability to administer contrast material and manage sterile field
  • On-call duties and variable shifts
  • Strong patient care and documentation skills
