Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse with circulating and scrubbing duties across multiple surgical specialties in a premier academic medical center. Provide patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, ensuring sterile technique, equipment readiness, and collaboration with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and optimal outcomes. Responsibilities include performing circulating and scrubbing duties, preparing ORs, maintaining sterile fields, documenting patient care, and managing OR equipment and inventory. Requires 2+ years OR experience, NYRN license, BLS/ACLS, and ability to scrub in as needed. Shift mix includes 4x8h and 4x12h schedules with every 3rd weekend; benefits and competitive compensation at $68/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
- Proficiency in general, ortho, trauma, neuro, and robotics cases; ability to scrub in addition to circulating duties
