Job Summary
Deliver class and/or clinical instruction according to an approved course syllabus using accepted teaching methods while developing daily lesson plans and advising students. Maintain accurate attendance and grade records, and ensure current certification in Radiography, a California permit, and CPR. Participate in faculty meetings, professional growth activities, two annual in-service trainings, and college events including orientations and graduation exercises. Strive for student success by preparing them for entry-level healthcare positions. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of occupational experience in the subject field or closely related field
- Two (2) years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography
- Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience in the subject areas taught
- Prior training in instructional methodology and teaching skills from a formal teacher educational program or any comparable training program or formal in-house training program
- Baccalaureate degree
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography
- Current CRT permit (State of California certification)
- Current CPR Card
