Job Summary

Perform diagnostic radiologic testing for inpatient and outpatient procedures while obtaining proper patient history, positioning patients to reduce radiation exposure, and ensuring supplies are available. Guide and direct employees to maintain optimal service levels, verify orders with physicians, and order department supplies weekly. Report equipment malfunctions to Bio-Medical Engineering and Plant Operations and participate in the department's quality improvement program. Requires an active IN Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT registration, and four years of imaging-related experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Active IN Radiologic Technologist License
  • ARRT (R) Radiology Registration through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Associates Degree Radiology
  • All post high school education obtained from a recognized College or University
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in the field of radiology
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A high degree of independent action and exercise of judgment
  • Creative ability
  • Ability to work under required deadlines and schedules
  • Flexibility to handle special requests and projects
  • Ability to multi-task under stressful situations
