Job Summary
Competently perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. Execute safe, precise procedures while gaining patient cooperation through effective communication and attentive monitoring. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Work independently to prioritize assignments, resolve standard problems, and collaborate with peers to meet departmental objectives. Manage hazardous drugs in accordance with NIOSH and USP 800 guidelines. Full-time evening/night shifts, 40 hours weekly, with variable weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist
- evidence of application for CRT/DRT provided prior to start date
- CRT/DRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed) provided prior to start date
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment
- some experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies
- Capable of performing routine radiographic examinations
- basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- written and verbal communications skills
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- ability to prioritize assignments
- ability to work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods
- ability to meet deadlines
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- knowledge of related information systems (Radiology (RIS), laboratory (LIS), electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, and picture archive and communication system (PACS))
- ability to work independently
- ability to work as part of a team
- ability to accomplish multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
- ability to identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options
- ability to ensure the privacy of each patient's protected health information (PHI)

- hazardous drugs management, storage, preparation, receiving, unpacking, transporting, disposing, or administering drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate
