Job Summary
Review patient history, physician orders, and schedules; educate patients on procedures and equipment. Prepare and administer contrast media or medications when ordered, while monitoring patient condition and reporting status changes. Position patients, perform imaging procedures, and analyze results to resolve image quality issues. Select appropriate exposure factors, implement safety standards, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. Enter and transmit images, and work with radiology students as needed. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Full-time nights shift at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
- Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work nights
- Must be able to work onsite
- Must be able to work full time
- Must be able to work 72.00 hours per pay period
- Must be able to work in Loveland, CO
- Must be able to work at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies
