Job Summary
Perform complete diagnostic imaging tests on patients according to departmental protocols, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRIs, while obtaining and documenting patient history. Prepare equipment to ensure operational safety, conduct periodic quality assurance checks, and maintain accurate logs. Solve equipment failures by contacting the Lead Technologist and perform daily maintenance and infection control measures before, during, and after procedures. Manage clinical supply inventories to ensure each diagnostic room is fully stocked. Work as a Medical Radiographer (TX MRT) and Registered Technologist (ARRT) within St. Joseph Health's Level III Trauma Center network.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Radiographer: TX (MRT)
- Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT(R))
- Basic Life Support - CPR - Within 14 days of hire
