Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols (radiography/X-ray and CT imaging as applicable) in an Acute Care/Academic Medical Center setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care, maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation, and operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, Active New York State License, at least 1 year of experience, and BLS certification; ARRT certification is preferred. The role is full-time via a contract arrangement (13 weeks with potential extension) and involves night shifts (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays, and possible on-call.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related field
- Active New York State License
- Minimum 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
