Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist at UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care performs x-ray imaging for patients across age groups, collaborates with providers and medical staff, and supports clinic operations. Responsibilities include applying x-ray energy for radiologic diagnosis, performing and analyzing patient x-rays, maintaining QA/QC logs, and ensuring radiation safety per ALARA guidelines. The role requires preparing patients, recording medical history, conducting point-of-care testing as needed, maintaining medical records, and assisting with patient care management and facility operations. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (required)
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required at time of hire)
- ARRT registration (required at time of hire)
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (required at time of hire, if applicable by state law)
- Ability to perform x-ray procedures
- Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for radiologic testing
- Knowledge of radiology equipment and safety hazards
- Patient care and safety responsibilities
