Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to examinations. Adjust equipment settings for proper voltage, current, and exposure time while performing screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Prepare examination rooms and equipment, monitor patients during exams to ensure safety, and verify exams on PACS. Document exam information and report important findings to physicians. Requires an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology (preferred), ARRT-R certification, state licensure, and BLS certification. Full-time variable shift position with up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation available for eligible hires.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography ARRT-R
- Radiologic Tech RT in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- Fluoroscopy FLUORO
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
