Job Summary

Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage and exposure time for each radiograph. Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, prepares equipment and examination rooms, positions patients for imaging exams, and ensures patient safety; produces diagnostic images and documents exam information for PACS.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology (preferred)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in CA and HI: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
  • Fluoroscopy license in CA within 6 months of hire: Required
  • Fluoroscopy (FLUORO): Required
