Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to examinations while adjusting voltage, current, and exposure time. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and prepare examination rooms and equipment. Monitor patients during exams, produce diagnostic images, document exam information, report findings to physicians, and verify exams on PACS. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification, Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license, and Basic Life Support certification. Full-time night shift position at Adventist Health Portland's 302-bed medical center.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
