Job Summary
Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs, positions and instructs patients prior to examinations, adjusts exposure settings, and produces diagnostic images. Performs screening procedures, explains procedures to patients, preps equipment and rooms, verifies exams in PACS, and reports important information to physicians. Requires ARRT-R certification, Oregon radiologic licensure, BLS certification, and vaccine compliance; must meet facility-specific licensing requirements and participate in E-Verify. Includes daily safety and patient-care responsibilities and adherence to organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology (preferred)
- ARRT-R Radiography: Required
- OBMI Radiologic Technologist License: Required in OR
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Vaccinations as a condition of employment (where applicable)
