Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians, positioning patients and adjusting voltage, current, and exposure time for each exam. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and monitor safety during examinations. Produce diagnostic images, document exam information, report findings to physicians, and verify exams on PACS. Prepare equipment and examination rooms as needed. Work night shifts at the Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center in Ridgefield, WA.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
