Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by physicians, positioning and instructing patients prior to each examination. Adjust equipment settings to determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for every radiograph. Prepare equipment for use as needed and document exam information while reporting important findings to the physician. Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per facility policy and receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment. This full-time night shift role supports the Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center's advanced cardiovascular care mission within a 302-bed medical center.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and understanding of Participation and Right to Work notices
