Radiologic Technologist, Full-time, Night shift

Job Summary
Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph. Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explains procedures to patients, prepares equipment and examination rooms, positions patients for imaging exams, monitors safety during exams, and produces diagnostic images. Documents exam information, reports important information to the physician, and verifies exams on PACS. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requires ARRT-R certification, Oregon Radiologic Technologist licensure, and BLS certification (AHA/ARC/BLS). Prefers an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology. Adventist Health requires vaccinations where applicable and participates in E-Verify.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
- ARRT-R Radiography required
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License required in OR
- BLS certification required (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required
