Job Summary

Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts; positions and instructs patients prior to examination; adjusts voltage and exposure time for each radiograph; prepares equipment and examination rooms; monitors patient safety during imaging; documents exam information and reports to physicians. Requires ARRT-R radiography certification and OBMI Radiologic Technologist license in Oregon, plus AH policy BLS certification. Responsibilities include screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, preparing rooms and equipment, positioning patients for imaging exams, producing diagnostic images, and verifying exams in PACS. Vaccination compliance is required for associates, with E-Verify participation. Adventist Health network overview provided.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
  • ARRT-R Radiography required
  • Oregon OBMI Radiologic Technologist License required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
