Job Summary

Performs diagnostic radiographic exams and evaluates radiographs for technical quality. Applies principles of radiation protection and calculates exposure factors; exercises professional judgment in procedures; provides patient care during radiographic procedures and manages physical/psychological needs. Prepares patients by positioning and adjusting equipment; adheres to infection-control policies and follows drug protocols for reactions. Administers contrast media per department policy, assists physicians with imaging, maintains radiographs and records, and ensures operation and maintenance of radiology equipment. Maintains competency in radiologic technology and collaborates with medical staff and patients; recognizes conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support when needed. Requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT registration, plus current BCLS training; preferred experience includes at least one year. The role is in Forsyth, GA, with in-person remote options.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT registration
  • Current, valid AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS)
