Job Summary
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and take x-rays following established safety protocols. Maintain working knowledge of PACS, DR, and CR equipment while adjusting immobilization devices and exposure factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures, measure and prepare medications, and process images for quality control and physician review. Perform specialized diagnostic radiology tasks, practice radiation protection techniques, and use the EHR to enter CPT codes for billing. Travel as required to satellite outpatient clinics for coverage. Work full-time Monday through Friday at the Westchester outpatient clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited X-Ray Technologist Program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) license as an RT
- Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) certification
- Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety (IDNS) certification
- Monday through Friday schedule
- No weekends or holidays
