Radiologic Technologist Full Time

Job Summary

Carry out radiology requisitions and views, using radiographic technique, PACS, and established procedures for patient care and safety. Assist patients into positions for imaging, occasionally lifting, while stocking supplies and utilizing radiation protection materials. Provide direct training and supervision to student technologists and ensure equipment remains in working order. Support Medical Assistants by rooming patients, transcribing, entering tests into the EMR, reviewing vital signs, assisting with minor procedures like suture removal, and ensuring exam rooms are sterilized and stocked. Maintain current ARRT certification, Florida state license, and BLS. One-year experience as a Radiology Technologist is required, with one year as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • One-year experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Completion of course work in radiologic technology approved by the ARRT
  • Current ARRT certification
  • American Registry of Radiology Technology
  • Florida state license
  • BLS certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Desired Qualifications

  • One-year experience as Medical Assistant
