Job Summary
Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians. Position and instruct patients prior to examinations, adjust equipment settings, and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and verify exams on PACS. Produce diagnostic images, document exam information, and report important findings to physicians. Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams while preparing examination rooms and equipment as needed. Maintain American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification and state licensure. Full-time position with required vaccinations and E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
- Fluoroscopy (FLUORO)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
