Radiologic Technologist-Full Time-Bellevue

Job Summary
Perform quality general radiographic and specialty images using clinical protocols, positioning patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas while respecting comfort. Evaluate images for technical quality, ensure proper identification is recorded, and provide patient education across all age groups including geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and pediatrics. Maintain strict patient and staff confidentiality, accurately input information into the electronic medical record and Radiology Information System, and respond appropriately to contrast reactions. Adhere to radiation safety rules, infection control policies, and OSHA procedures to minimize exposure for patients and staff. Complete quality assurance and quality control activities, maintain neat and stocked radiology rooms, and rotate shifts and assignments as required. Work as an effective team member with colleagues on and off-site, assist in monitoring workflow, and coordinate new employee training. Arrive at the start of the assigned shift ready to begin work and leave at the end of the assigned shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved accredited radiologic technology program
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington)
- Basic Life Support
- Consistently demonstrates knowledge and expertise in performing required procedures and exams
- Demonstrates strong communication and problem solving-skills
- Is very knowledgeable about and adheres stringently to radiation safety, safety precautions, and infection control practices
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing consistent excellent customer service
- Works and communicates effectively with all populations, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of direct experience with diagnostic procedures
