Job Summary

Perform all radiology procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, operating sophisticated equipment in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies. Provide expert patient care across diverse demographics while maintaining flexibility in a rapidly changing environment. Coordinate multiple activities simultaneously, manage on-call responsibilities, and perform duties requiring independent work with minimal supervision. Work full-time (40 hours) Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm. Join MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, a leading regional acute care facility serving northeastern South Carolina with advanced services including a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or obtain within 6 months
  • Licensed as a radiologic technologist by the SCRQSA
  • CPR certification
  • Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given
  • Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environment with multiple demands/deadlines
  • Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress
  • Ability to plan and organize
  • Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with multiple others of diverse cultures, educational backgrounds, and experience
  • Must be able to build partnerships with physicians and others
  • Must be able to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment and current dynamic health care climate
