Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist needed in Fort Wayne, IN for conducting portable x-ray and related imaging duties at patient bedsides. Responsibilities include performing x-rays and EKGs, ensuring release of images to licensed radiologists, maintaining accurate documentation, and handling equipment and company property professionally. The role requires current ARRT certification, active state licensure for all states served, the ability to work independently as part of a team, flexible hours to accommodate client needs, and a valid driving record suitable for heavy travel.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT, current
- Required X-ray State licensures for all states served, current
- Able to work independently, yet as part of a team
- Flexibility in work hours to meet needs of the clients
- Excellent driving record and must be physically able to drive approximately 3000 to 6000 miles per month
- Drug and alcohol free
- Experience in portable x-ray preferred
- Must be physically able to load and unload x-ray equipment (100-185lbs) from the vehicle on average 5-10 times per shift
- Must be physically able to transport equipment up and down as many as eight (8) steps
- Must be physically able to place X-ray cassettes underneath patients to complete exams
