Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment while operating imaging equipment. Ensure patient safety and uphold high-quality imaging standards by maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Perform duties requiring the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly, with prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive motions including gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting. Requires one year of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree, plus ARRT and BLS certification. State licensure may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- Completed required clinical hours
- One (1) year of relevant experience
- Graduate of Bachelor degree program
- State licensure
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R))
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proficiency in operating radiographic imaging equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow complex instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
