Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Achieve American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry within six months of hire and obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days. Work full-time Monday through Thursday on four-to-ten-hour shifts. This role supports Mercy Hospital Springfield's mission of compassionate care, offering tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- Completed required clinical hours
- State licensure
- ARRT registry or registry eligible
- Achieve ARRT registry within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
