Job Summary
The Radiologic/CT Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic and CT examinations, positioning patients and equipment, and selecting radiographic techniques while adhering to safety protocols. Key duties include assessing patient conditions, ensuring safety through proper use of restraint devices, documenting patient information, demonstrating competency in radiation protection, and reporting any safety hazards. This role requires a graduate degree in Radiologic Technology, valid licensure, and ARRT certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology
- Passed ARRT examination earning the credentials of a Registered Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
- Valid Radiologic Technologist License by the state of Arkansas
- Trained CT Technologist preferred but must be willing to cross train for CT
Additional Requirements
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination required
- This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position
- Occasional exposure to ionizing radiation
- Requires standing, lifting and walking regularly during the shift
- Occasional exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
