Conduct CT imaging procedures by positioning patients, administering contrast, and verifying orders while adhering to ALARA principles and safety protocols. Operate imaging equipment, perform quality assurance logs, and maintain room readiness. Review diagnostic images, initiate corrective actions for inadequate quality, and ensure complete study transfer to PACS. Coordinate exam flow, prioritize time-sensitive studies, and maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and image archive system. Communicate with patients before and during procedures to monitor safety and comfort. Perform clerical tasks including receiving orders and scheduling, while upholding all regulatory standards and ethical compliance requirements.
