Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs medical imaging exams using X-rays or other diagnostic imaging examinations on patients to create images of specific parts of the body. Working under direct supervision, the technologist prepares patients, positions them and operates imaging equipment to produce high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure, follows physician instructions, communicates with patients to reduce anxiety, completes procedure documentation, and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program.
- ARRT (R) | Radiologic Technologist - DxBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare.
