Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist prepares patients for radiologic procedures, escorts patients to imaging rooms, positions body parts for radiography, and explains procedures. Works with radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, adjusts exposure times and distances, and ensures radiation safety for patients and team. Maintains equipment, retrieves radiologic orders from the electronic medical record, and may perform other duties as assigned. Must graduate from an accredited x-ray program and hold current licensure in Mississippi; strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Ability to stand 6-8 hours, move equipment, and travel to various locations with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school for x-ray technicians
- Current licensure in Mississippi
