Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and mammograms to produce accurate images. Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them, and ensuring comfort while monitoring safety during exams. Operate and maintain equipment, keep accurate records of procedures and medical histories, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images for diagnosis. Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure and meet established productivity standards. Maintain state licensure and current certification to practice in Oklahoma.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Valid state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist in Oklahoma
- Ability to operate and maintain radiologic equipment and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful medical environment
