Job Summary
Perform radiographic procedures including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and specialized imaging as required while preparing and positioning patients to ensure their comfort and safety. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhere to radiation safety guidelines, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Assess patients' medical history, provide patient education, and maintain accurate documentation. Work Monday to Friday from 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM with on-call hours as needed. Cath Lab experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license or certification in the state of Iowa
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Cath Lab experience
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment, and procedures
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and image acquisition
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
