Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing and analyzing patient X-rays across all ages, ensuring accurate positioning and safe imaging per ALARA standards, while supporting clinic operations, documenting procedures, maintaining equipment and QA/QC logs, and communicating results to providers. Requires ARRT registration, state licensure, and BLS; role involves patient care, image production and management, and collaboration with medical providers and staff in GoHealth Urgent Care centers. Training includes hands-on coaching, with opportunities across multiple career paths within radiology and imaging support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire
- ARRT registration
- Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols
- Skills in patient positioning and equipment safety
- Ability to conduct point-of-care testing as needed (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG)
- Experience in maintaining medical records and QA/QC logs
- ALARA radiation safety practices
