Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using portable radiographic equipment across mobile settings. Travel to facilities and patient homes to capture high-quality images following imaging protocols, while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Explain procedures to patients, position them accurately, and protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure. Calibrate radiographic equipment, document records, and assist in interpreting radiographs when necessary. Safely transport equipment, cover non-imaged areas, and maintain infection control. Operate EKG exams, maintain equipment, and log imaging results in accordance with company protocols. Requires ability to drive and travel within the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- Earned LMRT or ARRT program
- Completed internships with hands-on clinical experience during the degree program
- Passed or scheduled to take qualifying exams within required timeframe for LMRT or ARRT certification
- Must be able to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid state radiology license (if applicable)
- Strong technical skills in radiology, communication and patient care, ability to work independently in mobile environment
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Possess a valid driver’s license
