Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist position at UMass Memorial Health in Webster, MA. Responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, monitoring patient safety with ALARA practices, preparing rooms, administering contrast media as required, and ensuring quality control and compliance with policies. Role includes patient interaction and explanations of procedures, collaboration with medical staff and students, and bone density imaging addendum duties. Requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration (or registry eligible), MA licensure, and CPR certification; strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program
- Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible
- Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program
- CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to explain procedures in English and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Ability to follow procedures, policies and regulations
- Ability to collaborate with medical staff, students, and patients
- English literacy in reading/writing/speaking
