Job Summary

Perform radiographic procedures requiring strong anatomical positioning knowledge, applying ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging in adult and pediatric populations. Demonstrate high technical competency and exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision across 16 community hospitals, including three level 1 trauma centers. This PRN role offers minimal call requirements of only three on-call days every 13 weeks, with a scheduled weekly total of 20 hours and rotating shifts. Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to perform job functions while standing

  • Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes
  • Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance
  • Ability to match or discriminate between colors
  • Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception
  • Good peripheral vision capabilities
  • Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction
  • Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements
