Job Summary
Coordinate patient care by communicating appointment details via telephone, email, or patient portals and maintaining sound radiation safety practices. Perform sterile and septic techniques for patients and required sterile fields while documenting all interactions accurately in the electronic health records. Adhere to organizational guidelines for EMR use in compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards. Requires a Radiology Technology license, two-year accredited program, and fluency in medical terminology. Full-time Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm shift at 16001 Park Ten Pl., Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two Year Program with accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Radiology Technology license
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Fluency in written and spoken English, including medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including, empathy, patience, compassion, courtesy and attentiveness
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of focus
- Task-oriented, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail
- Skilled in basic computer operations and EMR
