Job Summary
Conduct top-of-scope radiographic imaging procedures, review patient history, and prioritize patient education to ensure cooperation. Safely administer contrast media while monitoring patient condition and report any changes in status. Implement techniques to yield image clarity and maintain quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices. Provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team environment while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. This full-time role at UCHealth Eastview Medical Center in Colorado Springs requires an ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist with current BLS certification. The position offers a competitive hourly wage, a three-year incentive bonus, comprehensive health benefits, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
- Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position
- State licensure if required by law
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
