Review patient history and initiate radiographic images based on physician orders while prioritizing procedural patient education. Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications, monitoring patient condition and reporting changes as appropriate. Implement techniques to yield image clarity and ensure quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices. Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care for various imaging and radiologic procedures within a multidisciplinary team approach. Precept new staff to model proficiency and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
