Job Summary

Perform diagnostic radiology exams (X-ray) as part of an urgent care operation, ensuring imaging is performed safely and in accordance with ALARA. Collaborate with providers to ensure timely patient care and flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not performing imaging. Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection) and maintain equipment QC and compliance logs. ARRT-certified RT in good standing with active BLS or onboarding timeline; 1+ year urgent care imaging experience preferred. Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills; willing to cover MA/MR duties. Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred; fast-paced urgent care environment with PPE exposure and non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, float coverage).

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT-certified (R.T. (R)) in good standing; Radiologic Technologist (RT/Rad Tech/X-Ray Technologist) state license where required
  • Active BLS certification required or must be obtained within defined onboarding period
  • 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred
  • Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills
  • Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties
  • Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred
