Job Summary
Perform diagnostic radiology exams as an X-Ray Technologist in a fast-paced urgent care setting, collaborating with providers to ensure timely care. Role includes imaging with ALARA, supporting MA responsibilities (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not performing imaging, handling MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection), and maintaining equipment QC and compliance logs; the position requires ARRT certification and a state license where applicable, with evenings and weekend/floater coverage typical.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT-certified (R.T. (R)) in good standing
- Radiologic Technologist (RT/Rad Tech/X-Ray Technologist) state license where required
- Active BLS certification required or must be obtained within onboarding period
- 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred
- Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills
- Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties
- Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred
