Job Summary
Performs radiographic procedures following safety protocols; serves as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students; verifies physician orders and uses radiology information systems to facilitate care; operates radiology equipment to complete imaging procedures and ensures diagnostic-quality images; completes quality control procedures and assists in departmental operations; must have completed an approved radiologic technology program, hold ARRT certification (or be ARRT registry eligible with registry within 90 days) and a current state license, plus BLS certification; must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel between facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved radiologic technology program
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARRT registry eligible and registry within 90 days of employment
- Current unrestricted license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
