Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist to operate routine radiography equipment, fluoroscopy, portable x-ray machines and OR imaging, administer contrast media as required, screen and prep patients, ensure image quality, and provide age-appropriate patient care within Nashville General Hospital's imaging department. Must interact with radiologists and referring physicians, hold a two-year radiography program credential, ARRT certification (or eligible), and BLS within 6 months. Full-time role based in Nashville, TN with hospital policies and procedures guiding duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a two-year accredited radiography program (JCERT accredited preferred)
- Active certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible and obtain certification with the probationary hiring / employment period
- BLS Required within 6 months of hire.
