Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist-Angiographic Specialist performs Interventional and Angiographic procedures utilizing specialized equipment for Radiographic Imaging and recording. Responsibilities include patient care and physiologic monitoring, operating Radiology equipment, and performing critical thinking under minimal supervision. Candidates must have advanced knowledge in Angiographic procedures and possess necessary licensures and certifications. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
- California Fluoroscopy License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
- Minimum one year of acute hospital experience required
- Minimum two years of Angio experience preferred
Additional Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish preferred
- Able to distinguish colors and smells as necessary for patient care
- Hearing sufficiency for general conversation in person and on the telephone
