Radioisotope Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead all operational efforts for medical isotope production, overseeing raw material preparation, line clearance, and fill-finish procedures under cGMP standards. Manage production workflows, staffing levels, and equipment utilization to achieve required output while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate operations and meet strategic growth objectives. Drive process improvements, set KPIs, and coordinate with stakeholders and Niowave partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality isotopes. Lead a diverse team through hiring, coaching, and career development while maintaining compliance with cGMP, ISO13485:2016, and safety protocols. Work Monday through Friday with production-related shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, traveling between Lansing locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
- 5 years' experience operating in a cGMP manufacturing environment
- At least 3 years' experience supervising day to day activities of other team members, providing mentoring, and career development coaching
- Full-time position
- Monday thru Friday 6a - 6p with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts
- This position is a part of shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Travel between locations is expected in the role
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
- Experience with radiochemistry and/or radiopharmaceuticals
- Experience with chromatography separation, liquid/solid extraction, electrochemistry or amalgamation/cementation processes
- Hands-on experience utilizing lean manufacturing principles for continuous process improvements (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S)
