Job Summary
Radiography - X Ray Technologist: Reviews patient history, initiates radiographic images based on physician order, prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation. Safely administers contrast media or related imaging medications while monitoring patient condition. Responds to and reports changes in patient condition, and applies techniques to ensure image clarity and quality control in radiology per established best practices. The role emphasizes direct patient care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and precepting individuals new to imaging within a fast-paced clinical environment, with travel-eligible or contract opportunities for assignments, including night shifts and 72-hour periods per two weeks. This position supports imaging procedures, safety, and continuous professional growth within UCHealth’s imaging services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT registration (R)
- BLS/CPR with card in-hand before start date
- State licensure if required by law
- One year of experience
- Special ARRT certification(s) if required for position
