Job Summary
Radiography - X Ray Technologist: provides top of scope imaging and radiologic procedures in direct patient care, reviews patient history and physician orders, initiates radiographic images, educates patients, safely administers contrast media as needed, monitors patient condition, ensures image quality and safety, and contributes to a multidisciplinary team. Roles include precepting newer imaging staff, adapting to a fast-paced clinical environment, and supporting quality and safety at the point of care. This traveler/contract position offers 13-week assignments with nights, travel package, and local options within 75 miles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- One year of experience
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
- Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
